The Channel Highway runs around the hilly, curvy coastline of the D’Entrecasteaux Channel in Tasmania, south of Hobart. Driving it by night is an adventure.
Eyes glues to the road, foot ready to brake for wildlife. Everything else you see by day, you assume is still out there. The water truck is usually in a hurry.
