A commissioned work, a couple wished for a large painting of a favourite walk of theirs. We walked the track together and I was then able to bring together various elements that were important to them.
The textures of the bush are always a delight to recreate. The blackened tree is instantly recognisable to everybody who walks the track and was an engaging starting point.
