Topographical Bach

Created for a wilderness-loving music teacher who asked me to include a piano, I played Bach’s fifth Brandenburg Concerto, her favourite music, as I worked.From an image of the original handwritten manuscript I copied Bach’s handwriting. The contours of land and sky follow the shape of notation in one bar of the score with all instruments.
The track is flowing staffs and there are instruments growing out of logs and the ground, music stands amongst the trees.
